This website was built by volunteers who want to publicize and debate environment-related architecture and urban planning matters.

Developed in the Amazon region, its purpose is also to improve discussion via the internet. For this reason, we count on your curiosity and collaboration.

Organizers:

Bianca Moro de Carvalho: Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism at Universidade da Amazonia (2003), has Master in Housing and Urbanism Programme, Architectural Association Graduate School, London (2004). She was coordinator of Housing at the State of Amapá (2007-2008). She worked as a teacher of History of Architecture and Urbanism at the Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP), where she developed several investigations related to irregular settlements, among these experiences coordination of research ASPAMS “Irregular Occupation of Wetlands Zones in the Northern Amazon”, funded by the Ministry of Cities. Currently  she is doing her doctorate in urbanism at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM.

Renato Lobato: Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism at the Universidade Federal do Amapá – UNIFAP (2012). Currently he is doing his master course in Urban and Regional Planning at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). He won in to 2010 a fellowship from Ministry of Cities to help in the research project ASPAMS “Irregular Occupation of Wetlands Zones in the Northern Amazon”. He contributed as an urbanist for the master plan from some Amazon cities, as Chaves-PA, Ferreira Gomes-AP, AP-Porto Grande. He is working as a collaborating at the office Amapaz Sustainable Projects Ltda, this company has branches in Curitiba-PR-AP and Macapa. E-mail: renato.fallen@hotmail.com

Sadami Yoshida: is studying Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Amapá, UNIFAP. He currently works as a scholarship from CNPq, in partnership with the Federal University of Pará, UFPA, in the project “Production Housing and Human Occupation: The Relationship Between Human Being and the Built Environment in Slums in Amazonian cities.”. He worked in the preparation of Master Plans of some Amazon municipalities as Porto Grande-AP and AP-Ferreira Gomes. He is working as a collaborating at the office Amapaz Sustainable Projects Ltda, this company has branches in Curitiba-PR-AP and Macapa. E-mail: sadamiyoshida@hotmail.com

Neto Correa: is studying Architecture and Urbanism at the Universidade Federal do Amapá – UNIFAP. Currently won a fellowship to study at Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Universitat Rovira i Virgilli(ETSA),in the city of Reus, Spain. He won in to 2010 a fellowship from Ministry of Cities to help in the research project ASPAMS “Irregular Occupation of Wetlands Zones in the Northern Amazon”. He worked in the preparation of Master Plans of municipalities Ferreira Gomes-AP and AP-Porto Grande.He made an internship at the office Amapaz Sustainable Projects Ltda, this company has branches in Curitiba-PR-AP and Macapa.
